REFERRING VETERINARIANS

Our aim is to provide a positive referral experience for both the referring veterinarian and the client. We will offer courteous and professional service to your clients at all times.

Early referral of cases is most likely to result in a positive referral experience. As you would be aware the eye has an amazing propensity to deteriorate quickly with many diseases. In our experience, waiting till the last minute to refer a case has the potential to result in higher costs, less satisfying results and disappointed clients. Early referral in the majority of cases is usually associated with higher success rates, better surgical outcomes and happier owners.

VISIT TO REGIONAL AREAS Our doctors also provide a service for clients living out of Sydney.
We visit the ACT, Newcastle, Bathurst, South Coast and the Southern Highlands Area.

MEDICATIONS We are able to supply referring veterinarians and clients with various medications. It is a legal requirement of the Veterinary Surgeons Act that we can only supply such medications to animals that are clients of ECA and by prescription. Medications can only be prescribed for a year after the last consultation. If you have any queries about this please feel free to contact us.
