The Eye Clinic for Animals is a specialty clinic providing exceptional veterinary ophthalmology services. We operate out of two state-of-the-art Veterinary Hospitals located in Sydney using the most advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment available.
In our commitment to being world-wide pioneers in animal ophthalmology, we have invested heavily to ensure we remain at the forefront of our field. As world leaders in the area of corneal transplantation, we are proud to own specialised equipment not found in any other private practice in Australia, and possibly the world. We also utilise the most advanced human ophthalmology equipment to ensure the highest level of care for all our patients.
Pets can be affected by a wide range of eye diseases which can threaten their sight. We are highly-experienced in screening, diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, corneal ulcers, eye lid surgery, detached retinas, and performing eye removal surgery.
Excellence without compromise — that’s our goal. We are dedicated to providing the highest-quality ophthalmologic care possible to all of our patients. We are also committed to treating all our patients (and their owners) with honesty, respect and compassion.
While we spend a lot of time caring for family pets such as dogs, cats and birds, we are also highly capable of providing specialty eye care for wildlife and exotic animals. Our team have successfully treated Australian wildlife such as koalas, kangaroos and native birds.
We have also performed eye surgery on more exotic animals including a Bengal tiger, seals, birds and reptiles.
We are a proud primary sponsor of Taronga Conservation Society Australia and provide our ophthalmology services to both Taronga Zoo and Western Plains Zoo, helping to ensure the eye health of a wide range of species, from exotic animals to native wildlife.
Working with these renowned zoos allows us to play a vital role in the care of animals, offering specialised treatments and advanced surgical procedures to address complex eye conditions. Through this collaboration, we contribute to the well-being and conservation of endangered species, helping to preserve biodiversity for future generations.
We are very proud of the work we do at the Eye Clinic for Animals. We are especially proud to be leaders in our field and to be recognised for our ground-breaking work in veterinary ophthalmology.
